For matters of security, safety, and fairness, we've imposed the following rules and regulations to which, as a client, you must agree to abide by. Please read through them closely so that you understand what your rights and responsibilities as a RigRag client are.
We are likely to make updates, changes and additions regularly as our service expands. Therefore, we suggest you check back as often as you can to make sure you're always up to date. These terms were last changed, added to, or updated on July 27, 2011.
We have the right to change, suspend or terminate your account without notice, based on the violation of our policy. Suspensions and terminations are based on our judgement alone. Please be aware that no refund or compensation will be issued if your account is suspended or terminated.
Any attempt to undermine or cause harm to our servers is strictly prohibited. As a client, you are responsible all of your accounts (i.e. your own and your clients). Should you violate any of the terms listed within the terms and conditions, your account will be terminated immediately without a refund.
If an unmetered or unlimited service is offered, RigRag will not keep a close track of how much space/bandwidth you are using - and you are free to use as much as you'd like or need without crippling or damaging our servers performance or speed. We have the right to remove your account without prior notice if you are doing so.
As part of our fair usage policy, you must not needlessly create accounts, install scripts or upload files which add space usage if you've no intention of using them. Excessive CPU usage is not allowed, also, and we'll remove the account/content in question if a large CPU is created.
Reseller clients are not permitted to host more than 15 free webhosting accounts, and must not offer webhosting plans at ridiculously low prices.
Due to PayPal handling fees and other issues, RigRag regrettably cannot grant any refunds unless we feel absolute necessary, and every client who signs up to RigRag must agree with this policy before applying for an account.
Should you be wary of this policy, we recommend requesting a free thirty day trial before joining RigRag to ensure we're right for you before making a payment.
Clients of RigRag must not host, use, or install any of the following content on websites.
We assign unique usernames to every account we create to avoid future problems. This cannot be changed. All of our reseller clients are encouraged to do the same.
Although we try our best to keep downtime to an absolute minimum, we cannot be held responsible for any downtime that may occur or any data loss that may result from this downtime. We urge all clients to keep regular back-ups of their own folders, and if applicable, client folders.
We have zero tolerance for abusive language and/or behaviour toward RigRag employees or any service we provide. Any customer deemed at our sole discretion to be abusive to RigRag employees or any service we provide will be subject to immediate irrevocable account termination without any refund. Threats to sue, or of slander, libel, etc., are considered forms of abuse and will result in immediate irrevocable account termination without any refund.
RigRag may, at its discretion, suspend or terminate service of any client that is abusive or harassing to RigRag or RigRag staff. Examples of such activity include, but are not limited to:
It is your responsibility to ensure that your clients follow all of our policies, terms, and conditions. Failure to do so may result in suspension or termination of your account.
